These terms apply to all purchases made at Fjordback Studio. By placing an order you accept these terms.

2. Products

All prints are original artworks by Fjordback Studio, printed to order on museum-quality matte paper. Colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen depending on your display settings. Frames are made of solid wood and may show small natural variations in grain and tone.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include any applicable taxes. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you complete your order. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your payment is processed securely through Shopify; we never see or store your full card details. The amount is reserved when you order and charged when your order is processed.

4. Order and contract

When you place an order you receive an order confirmation by email. The contract between you and Fjordback Studio is concluded when the order confirmation is sent. Please check that the confirmation is correct and contact us as soon as possible if anything is wrong.

We reserve the right to cancel an order in case of obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud or if an item can't be produced. In that case you will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery

Prints are made to order and shipped from our production partners in Europe. Production and delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy. The risk of the item passes to you when it has been delivered.

6. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. The period starts the day you receive your order. Read how to use it in our Returns & Exchanges policy.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised items made to your specifications, such as Custom House Posters.

7. Complaints and defects

You have a 2-year right to complain about defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. If your item is defective or damaged on arrival, contact us within a reasonable time after you discover the defect – ideally within 14 days – with your order number and photos. We will offer a replacement, repair or refund.

8. Intellectual property

All artworks, images and texts on this website belong to Fjordback Studio. Buying a print gives you the right to display it privately. It does not give you the right to copy, reproduce or sell the artwork.

9. Personal data

We only use your personal data to process your order and, if you agree, to send you news. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disputes

If you are not satisfied, please contact us first – we always try to find a good solution. If we can't agree, you can file a complaint with the Danish Complaints Board via Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk). If you live in another EU country, you can also get help from the European Consumer Centre (forbrugereuropa.dk).
